    AU Ranked 191 in 2021 Young University Rankings

    The Times Higher Education just released this year’s list of the best universities in the Young University Rankings on June 24, and AU ranked No. 191 among 475 universities globally, and No. 3 in Taiwan. The universities are judged across all their core missions: teaching; research; knowledge transfer; and international outlook – to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons available.     AU Students Won Winners in 2021 DNA Paris Design Awards

    Two Asia University students from the Department of Interior Design won Winners in 2021 DNA Paris Design Awards announced on June 21.  Yu-hsiang Lin won a Winner in the category of “Renovation” with his work, “Zen Art Gallery,” and Yun-jui Liang won another Winner in the category of “Retail” with his work, “RUNI Flower.”  Hong Ren Wang, also from the Department of Interior Design received an “Honorary Mention” with his work, “Mobile City” in the category of “Retail.” Yu-hsiang Lin said that his idea of “Zen Art Gallery” came from an architecture tour to Japan during his junior year.  He …

    A three-day Holiday!

    AU Held its 2021 Commencement Online

    AU held its 2021 commencement online on June 5.  Due to the impact of the pandemic, the graduates could not come to the campus to attend the ceremony in person.  However, most students attended the ceremony online to celebrate this great event in their lives.  Ms. Shiou-Yen Lu, mayor of Taichung City, also sent her video message to all the graduates in the ceremony. Dr. Chang-hai Tsai, founder of the university, sent his congratulatory messages to all the graduates and encouraged them to pursue their career development with what they had learned on campus and to meet the future challenges …
