President Jeffrey J.P. Tsai of Asia University pointed out that Asia University, which was founded 22 years ago, has been included in the global rankings of the Times Higher Education, Shanghai Ranking, QS World University Rankingpicture 2s, U.S. News & World Report. Domestically, Asia University has been recognized as the "Best University in Taiwan 2023" by Global Views Monthly and as a "University with Outstanding Academic Achievements and Growth in 2023" by Cheers Magazine. Three years ago, Asia University began cultivating AI talent throughout the entire campus, and this year, it has taken the lead in positioning itself as a university for nurturing ChatGPT and generative AI talent, aligning with global technological trends in teaching, research, and learning. The university is continuously striving to enhance its academic research capabilities and improve students' international employability, aiming for higher international rankings.

The Dean of the Office of Research and Development at Asia University, Ching-Hsien Hsu, explained that, based on the data provided by THE, Taiwanese universities perform above the global average in the industry and research environment domains. However, changes in the assessment criteria for the research quality indicator have affected rankings. Asia University has been consistently hiring high-quality faculty, establishing key research centers and specialized laboratories, and maintaining robust research capabilities, all of which highlight the university's strengths and contribute to its favorable performance in these indicators.
