In the field of "Computer Science," it ranks between 651st and 700th globally, making it 10th in Taiwan and the top among private universities. In the Medicine field, it also ranks between 651st and 700th globally, making it 9th in Taiwan and 5th among private universities.
The "2024 QS World University Subject Rankings" marks its 14th year, covering over 96 countries, 1500 universities, and 55 subjects in its independent comparative report. Ben Sowter, Senior Vice President of QS, stated in an interview that the current global context, marked by rising inflation, political instability, and elections in over 50 countries, underscores the unprecedented importance of supporting higher education and international student mobility as drivers of innovation and societal progress. This edition of the rankings represents the largest-scale analysis ever conducted by QS, emphasizing the significance of diversity, research partnerships, investment, cross-border academic collaboration, and industry cooperation.

Tsai of Asia University observed that Asia University has been ranked among the top universities in the world for 10 consecutive years by the Times Higher Education (THE) rankings. In the fields of Clinical and Health and Life Sciences, Asia University ranks as the second among private universities, with all five major fields ranking within the top ten universities in Taiwan.
