Ten AU professors from different departments were listed as the world’s top 2% scientists recommended by the Stanford University Research Team.

Chair Professor Ming-Lang Tseng, Department of Business Administration; Chair Professor Ching-Hsien Hsu, Department of Computer Science & Information Engineering; Chair Professor Li-Chan Lin, Department of Nursing; Chair Professor  Kuo-Hsiung Wang, Department of Business Administration; Distinguished Professor Chung-Lin Huang, Department of Computer Science & Information Engineering; Distinguished Professor Syh-Jong Chang, Center for General Education; Associate Professor Yuh-Shan Ho; and Assistant Professor Dinh-Thuan Do are listed in the category of "Lifelong Science Impact Ranking (1960-2020)."Chair Professor Ming-Lang Tseng, Department of Business Administration; Chair Professor Ching-Hsien Hsu, Department of Computer Science & Information Engineering; Chair Professor Li-Chan Lin, Department of Nursing; Associate Professor  Su-hua Huang, Department of Basic Medicine and Biotechnology; Associate Professor Yuh-Shan Ho; Associate Professor Jeng-Shyan Deng; Department of Food Nutrition and Health Biotechnology; and Assistant Professor Dinh-Thuan Do are listed in the category of "2020 Science Impact Ranking." 

There are all together 16 faculty members listed and six professors are listed in both categories.  Stanford University Research Team selects the world’s top 2% scientists from 8 million scientists worldwide in the fields of Applied Science, Health Science, Natural Science, Economics and Social Science and Arts and Humanities.

Having 1479 scientists on the list, Taiwan is ranked No.19, after No.1 America, No.2 England, No. 3 Germany, No. 5 Japan and No.17 Korea.
